The lobby of the Disney Grand Floridian is the location of a life-size gingerbread house. This enormous gingerbread house is impeccably detailed with 25 hidden Mickey’s, Disney characters around each window, snowflakes, sugar poinsettias, toy soldiers and even an 85lb Santa. If you can believe it required 1,050 pounds of honey, 140 pints of egg whites, 600 pounds of powdered sugar, 700pounds of chocolate, 800 pounds of flour, and 35 pounds of spices. It is just jaw dropping to see this masterpiece.
